Puerto Moreles is a town in the Quintana Roo state of Mexico. It is in the north east of the state, about 36 km south of Cancun. It has historically been the main port between the mainland of Yucatan and the Island of Cozumel, and a regular automobile ferry runs from Puerto Morales to Cozumel. It had a population of about 2,000 people in 2000.
