Date of death
[edit]Originally this page (and various associated templates etc) said Yohannan VI ruled from 1012-1016; however the only directly quoted source (Bar Hebraeus) said he died in 1020, and also explicitly says his successor Ishoyahb IV (who seems universally acknowledged to have begun his patriarchate in 1020) was elected in the same year Yohannan VI died. I have found other sources putting Yohannan's death in 1020, and so have changed the date in various navboxes and templates etc to reflect this (a four year vacancy seems quite unlikely not to at least be mentioned somewhere). I have mentioned this ambiguity in the lead, giving sources for both dates. If anyone is aware of why it was originally written as 1016 please let me know :) GeorgmentO (talk) 13:04, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
