Karwal is a Scheduled Caste in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The 2011 Census of India for Uttar Pradesh showed the Karwal population as 7,183.[1]

Karwal is also an unrelated community in Punjab and pre-partition North India, traditionally belonging to the Rajput class.
