Background
The Weeknd first performed the song live on September 7, 2024, at his one-night-only concert in São Paulo, Brazil and is set to release the song commercially on September 13, 2024.[1][2] The song was announced on September 9, 2024, as the lead single from his upcoming sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, through Apple Inc.'s "It's Glowtime" promotional event promoting the iPhone 16.[3]
Music video
A behind-the-scenes look at the music video was first shown at the Apple Event on September 9, 2024. The music video was shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro, and directed by Anton Tammi, who previously directed the video for "Blinding Lights".[1][4]
