Iyanna Mayweather moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Iyanna Mayweather, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. AfC notification: Draft:Mlj Marine Oil & Gas has a new comment
- Thank you Timtrent I have seen your comment on this and they sound right. I was referring more on the politician article which I believe doesn’t have any issue. It’s a good article I wrote and a lot of notable references which doesn’t sound promotional and meets up WP:GNG --Gabriel601 (talk) 23:05, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- Gabriel601, you need to submit your drafts to Articles for Creation and listen to what reviewers say about the condition of the article. They are the experts, they look at hundreds of drafts every year. They know what it takes for a new article to survive being nominated for deletion. While they might sound critical, they are trying to help you write better articles that don't get deleted and you shouldn't ignore their advice. Liz Read! Talk! 02:13, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Good day Liz, I don’t mind submitting article for review but this was rude User_talk:Praxidicae#Why He also needs to be talked to on how to approach contributors in a polite manner.--Gabriel601 (talk) 08:34, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- I fear, Gabriel, that you misunderstand referencing and notability. The opinion I have just expressed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oritsewinor Kevin Olu would have been my AFC review. You deprived yourself of the chance to receive it as a review by moving it tendentiously to mainspace. No-one was able to move it back to draft because that woudl have been move warring, something which is deprecated.
- Our role as reviewers is to seek to ensure that an article will not immediately be subject to one of our deletion processes when it is accepted. That is why we push it back to the author. We want to accept articles.
- You do have time to seek to save the article by diligent research and editing. However I feel that Olu cannto be shown to pass our inclusion criteria.
- Prove me wrong. Don't do it by any argument, but do it by work in the article
- If I may advise you about AfD, those who seek to counter every point made have, historically, lost the discussion. Those who fire their arrow once and well may win. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 07:10, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking your time to advice. I appreciate Timtrent --Gabriel601 (talk) 08:18, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- It's been a difficult pleasure to offer you advice, diffiocult because you raced past the point where advice would have been easy to receive. Even so, for the future you will know differently.
- I've re-read your interaction with Praxidicae. I can almost see why you were upset, but you missed something. You asked in your opening question why they did not send them to AfD. They gave a good answer to that, and then promised that they would do so if you moved them back. I am paraphrasing. You mistook their promise to do the thing you had asked their rationale for not doing previously for a threat. That is where it all went wrong. If you step away from that conversation and then analyse it as an outsider I think you will see the issue was not as you thought at first. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 09:21, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

UPE Warning
Hello Gabriel601. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Oritsewinor Kevin Olu, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Gabriel601. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Gabriel601|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Celestina007 (talk) 19:55, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- Imposing I was paid to write articles is very funny of you lol. If I was being paid to write articles for me I don’t think I’m gonna be here writing articles rather I get someone doing paid editing because I’m not always active. Have got no COI of any article created by me. If I’m speaking on behalf of an article I created was because i know I did better. Birds of the same feather flocks together that is what I’m seeing from all your contributions judging editors with your close editor which I know they are your friends but anyway I just speak for myself & all have said it’s a Good faith.--Gabriel601 (talk) 07:26, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry Warning
Hello, Gabriel601, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Celestina007 (talk) 19:56, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- There’s no need for this kind of sock warning Celestina007 because I don’t have multiple account. You can’t be warning me for what I’m not doing. This is my only wiki account.--Gabriel601 (talk) 07:09, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- It’s an AGF warning, I have AGF warned you, Timtrent has been gracious enough to do same. It’s one thing to claim you have no COI or engage in socking and its a whole other thing for your actions(article creations) to betray your claim. If you continue creating promotional non notable articles that you’d be indefinitely blocked is a certainty. I wouldn’t AGF warn you again. Celestina007 (talk) 10:55, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

- This is the second article of yours that is written in a deceptive manner. You are very much on my radar. Your work is stretching my assumption of good faith towards its elastic limit.
- I note Celestina007 has asked you a formal question above about Paid Editing that is mandatory to answer. I was about to do the same myself. I am also concerned that they are asking about use of multiple accounts or co-ordinating others to create an effect. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:48, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- I’m not saying for you to believe or have a good faith on my end Timtrent because I’m not being paid off to write any articles. I write for impact and not for money. - Gabriel601, I've done what I can to rescue this article. I believe she's notable, and so do others. I'll also see what I can do about Draft:Iyanna Mayweather, since the rejection is based partly on the writing style, and I can help with that. But I make no promises on whether she's notable independent of her father; I'll have to look for sources on her performing career. If you see this note, courage, and see whether you can find more sources on either of them. Yngvadottir (talk) 09:22, 13 May 2022 (UTC)

I see you are using Twinkle to tag pages for speedy deletion which is great. One thing I'll mention is that when you tag pages CSD G5, the work of a ban evading editor, in the field for this G5 criteria when you use Twinkle, please put the username of the sockmaster, not the sockpuppet. It's a small thing but when anyone looks at the deletion rationale for the page, they should be able to see who the sockmaster was that was evading their block and go look at that SPI, it's not as important to know which sockpuppet created the deleted article.
