On 20 October 2024, Jendo was arrested in [[Södertälje, Sweden]] on suspicion of [[tax fraud]] before a planned performance in [[Linköping]]. Supposedly, Jendo had lacked a [[work permit]] to perform as a non-EU citizen, but the organizer of the event stated that there have previously been no issues in organizing performances with Assyrian artists.
