Baghshad (Persian: باغشاد) is a city in the Central District of Lenjan County, Isfahan province, Iran. The city was established after the merger of the former villages of Bagh Shah, Madiseh, and Now Guran.[3]

Language

Baghshad is a Persian-speaking city.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Baghshad's population (as the total of its constituent villages before the merger) was 4,924 in 1,240 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,679 people in 1,367 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population as 4,356 people in 1,408 households,[2] by which time the city had been established within the Central District.[3]
