It is clear from the May 25 2024 Deadline piece that this film has not been commercially released and a distribution deal for its forthcoming release has only just been struck in 2024 with Sony Pictures Classics. Furthermore the article clearly states the 2021 Venice screening was a “work-in-progress”, meaning the film was not finished. For the above reasons the film should remain “forthcoming” until an official release date is announced. I've renamed the Reception section as Production since the film has not been released.Limelightangel (talk) 08:13, 17 June 2024 (UTC)

"Is preceded by"?
The article states:

:: Becoming Led Zeppelin is preceded by two concert films, the 1976 film The Song Remains the Same and the Celebration Day footage of the 2007 reunion concert at London's O2 Arena.

What does this mean? Are you saying that when Becoming Led Zeppelin is released to theaters, these three films will be shown together in the theater?

Or are you just mentioning two somewhat-related films that happened to be released in the past? &mdash; <span style="font: small-caps 12px times;">Lawrence King</span> (<span style="color: #129dbc;">talk</span>) 22:35, 10 November 2024 (UTC)

Revision as of 22:35, 10 November 2024

Production Status March 2023

The category 'Films 2021' has been removed as the film has not yet been released. An official post on the Led Zeppelin website https://forums.ledzeppelin.com/topic/29929-becoming-led-zeppelin-documentary-american-epic-quick-update/ confirms that as of September 3, 2022, the film was in post-production. It was not released in 2021 and the screening at Venice was of a work-in-progress. Limelightangel (talk) 12:41, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Is preceded by"?

The article states:

Becoming Led Zeppelin is preceded by two concert films, the 1976 film The Song Remains the Same and the Celebration Day footage of the 2007 reunion concert at London's O2 Arena.

What does this mean? Are you saying that when Becoming Led Zeppelin is released to theaters, these three films will be shown together in the theater?

Or are you just mentioning two somewhat-related films that happened to be released in the past? — Lawrence King (talk) 22:35, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
