- This is the first episode in the series "House M.D." to have a patient die roughly 20 mintues before the epsiode is over, also it is the first episode besides Euphoria Part one (Second Season) to have the patient die, and the first episode to have the main patient die. (In Euphoria, the cop dies, but the focus at that point is on Foreman.)

- This is also the first "House M.D." episode to barely feature Cameron, or Cuddy. They each only have a small part. Also, Chase doesn't have that many lines.

Template:House (TV series) episode

House Training is the twentieth episode of the third season of House and the sixty-sixth episode overall.

Synopsis

A young female scam artist called Lupe passes out while working a card playing scheme on the street. Lupe suffers from a lack of blood to the brain which had temporarily paralyzed her ability to make decisions or exercise free will. Measuring from her background, Foreman immediately suspects Lupe's condition stems from drug abuse, while Chase looks for other possibilities, such as toxins in Lupe's apartment. Lupe senses Foreman's disdain for the decisions she's made in her life, and Foreman grapples with his own humble past when his parents come to visit him. When Lupe's symptoms worsen and her organs begin to shut down, Foreman and the team suspect cancer to be the culprit. Meanwhile, Cuddy and Wilson go out on a date to see an art exhibit together, and House probes Wilson's ex-wife about Wilson and his dating habits. Lupe eventually dies and when House performs an autopsy, it is learned that Lupe had scratched herself from her bra strap, and the cut got infected, the strap covered the cut, so the team didnt notice it in time.

Diagnosis

Staff infection because of a scratch on Lupe's back caused by her bra strap, the strap covered the cut, so the team didn't notice the scratch.
