The following file shows the view counts for "Baby Shark" and other music videos as of November 24, 2024, at 05:00 UTC. This is midnight at the start of the day for residents of the Eastern Time Zone. In the United States, this time zone includes Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, and several other states, as well as Washington, D.C. In this table, "Total Views" refers to the cumulative (a.k.a. "lifetime") view count of the official music video for the song. "Release Date" is the upload date of the music video. This is the "Published" date in the video's description box on the music video's YouTube page.

"Relative Popularity" is calculated using the following formula:

Relative Popularity = X / (X + Y), where X is the number of views on the music video in question, and Y is the number of views on the "Baby Shark" video.

"Baby Shark" is the most viewed YouTube video, so for any non-"Baby Shark" video, "Relative Popularity" is strictly less than 0.5 or 50%.

The "31-Bit Integer" is defined with the following formula: '''31-Bit Integer''' = ceil(2,147,483,647 × [1 − (Relative Popularity)]), where "ceil" denotes the ceiling function. Recall that, for any real number x, ceil(x) is the nearest integer to x without being smaller than x. Remember, "floor" always rounds downwards, and "ceil" always rounds upwards, while "round" can go either way.

As for the number 2,147,483,647, this seemingly arbitrary 10-digit number is not so arbitrary. It is the largest value for a signed 32-bit integer because 231 − 1 = 2,147,483,647. This number is prime, making it a Mersenne prime.

"31-Bit Integer (RNG)" is very similar to "31-Bit Integer", except that the prime number 2,147,483,563 is used instead. This number is calculated by subtracting 84 from the other prime, and 2,147,483,563 is also prime. This prime is used in the [[Number Theory/32-bit Linear congruential generator|32-bit linear congruential generator]], which is used for pseudorandom number generation on Texas Instruments calculators.

'''31-Bit Integer (RNG)''' = ceil(2,147,483,563 × [1 − (Relative Popularity)]) [Exception: If this formula gives a value of 2,147,483,563, a value of 2,147,483,562 will be used instead.]

For all entries, "31-Bit Integer (RNG)" will be very close to "31-Bit Integer", though the latter will be slightly less than the former.
