Hello! Thanks for dropping by.
Currently my on-wiki availability is varied.
Due to constraints on available time, I ask that paid contributors seek help elsewhere. Fellow volunteers are welcome to leave a message; and if you need assistance sooner than I can offer it, the help desk or the Teahouse are good bets for a quick reply.
Happy editing!

Some photo help

Hi, Innisfree! I'm currently working on a draft for Grace Lavery, who is married to Daniel M. Lavery. I noticed that you were involved in photo-related shenanigans for that article in years past and was wondering if you had any insight on obtaining a photo for Grace? I wanted to ask ahead of time before I finish the draft, just to see if we can dig a good photo up beforehand. SilverserenC 17:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh gosh. You know, @Silver seren, if I recall correctly, that was resolved by Daniel sending a current photo but no, sorry to say I have no idea who if anyone got in touch to make that happen. On a different note tho, my recollection is there used to be a draft for Grace—requesting a refund might be helpful to understand why it wasn’t published previously. Good luck! Innisfree987 (talk) 17:22, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As an aside, the inability to access Newspapers.com right now is quite vexing, because there's likely some extra information, maybe even background info, on Lavery that could be found there. But the entire system is down right now. And I can't really delay on moving the article into mainspace. Oh well. SilverserenC 16:42, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your Lowry edit

There's a discussion in the Rich Lowry talk page at the moment about his recent slur usage, and a few editors are wanting to opt for removing the content altogether due to BLP concerns. I'm trying for a pointless delicate balance for inclusion, because even though it's obvious to anyone that he said it, it is a recent event with BLP concerns and there isn't a reputable media consensus backing up that he did actually say what we all heard, so inclusion at the moment favors weaker statements that don't definitively represent that he said it. So, I reverted your perfectly good edit, wikilawyering style. I did so fully knowing you're right. I'm sorry. Mewnst (talk) 20:40, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message @Mewnst, I appreciate it. It looks like the version has stabilized for the time being. Innisfree987 (talk) 06:02, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
