He is currently the fourth goalkeeper in the team (behind Dida, Zeljko Kalac, and Marco Storari), and has played only two professional matches in his 8-year run in the club. With Milan, he played one league match (4-2 loss v Piacenza) and one Italian Cup match (1-0 win v Sampdoria, replacing an injured Abbiati in the first half).

He was set to retired in June 2006. But lack of replacement of third goalkeeper delay his retirement.

He signed new one year contract in April 2007. Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani stated that the club has decided to keep Fiori in the club all these years because of his professional conduct. He has never strongly demand to play, unlike other goalkeepers in general. He knows and understands his role in the club, and always waits patiently for his turn.

Before AC Milan, he played for Lodigiani (1 season), Lazio (6 seasons), Cagliari (3 seasons), Cesena, Fiorentina and Piacenza (1 season each).
