Nadaan (transl. Naive) is a Pakistani television miniseries, directed by Mehreen Jabbar, written by Saji Gul, and produced by Sultana Siddiqui under Moomal Entertainment as the second series in her trilogy on mob violence that began with Mann Jogi and concluded with Tan Man Neel o Neel. Ahmed Ali Akbar, Ramsha Khan and Kashif Hussain starred as the leads. It premiered on October 5, 2024 on Hum TV.[1][2]

The series tackles the issue of drug abuse, mob mentality and intolerance in the society.[3][4]

Plot

Inspector Haider, Station House Officer of Jaam Nagar, faced an inquiry at Karachi's main police station regarding Dr. Tabeer's case. He explained that Dr. Tabeer had been investigating Pir Subhan, a counterfeit spiritual healer providing drugs to vulnerable residents as "medicine". After a neighbor's daughter fell ill from Pir's "medicine", Dr. Tabeer discovered it contained methamphetamine and filed a complaint with Inspector Haider. However, Pir's influence over the local MPA hindered their efforts.
