SFS High School, Agiripalli is a private Catholic educational institution located in Agiripalli, Andhra Pradesh, India. Established in June 1995 by the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (MSFS), the school emphasizes holistic education, academic excellence, character development, and extracurricular activities. History
In the 1990s, the Most Rev. Dr. Thumma Joseph, the then Bishop of Vijayawada, envisioned establishing a Catholic presence in Agiripalli. To explore the potential of initiating a mission in the Agiripalli area, he entrusted this vision to various religious societies, including the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales (MSFS). With the Bishop’s support, the MSFS of the Vizag Province decided to establish an educational institution under the leadership of the late Very Rev. Fr. Medathada Maridas, the then Provincial Superior. During the tenure of the late Most Rev. Alexander Cardinal Kodath, the foundation for this mission was laid. SFS High School, Agiripalli, was founded in June 1995 under the guidance of the Very Rev. Fr. Mani Panthalani, the founding Provincial of the school. This institution began as a modest school with a profound vision of nurturing young minds through holistic education, emphasizing academic excellence, character development, and global awareness. The foundation stone was blessed by Rev. Fr. Mani Panthalani and laid by the late Very Rev. Fr. Emil Meyrath, the former Superior General, on November 7, 1995. Rev. Fr. Joseph Nelimalamattom, the first Correspondent, was entrusted with establishing the school.
