Harrington Road Subway is located in the neighbourhood of Chetpet in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is one of two subways that pass under the Southern Railway’s [[Southern Railway zone|Southern Mainline]]. It was built in 2006. It begins near Gilchrist Avenue and rises back up near the Chari Road Junction. Harrington Road Subway is located in the neighbourhood of Chetpet in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is one of two subways that pass under the Southern Railway’s Southern Mainline. It was built in 2006. It begins near Gilchrist Avenue and rises back up near the Chari Road Junction. This subway also presumably replaced a rail crossing due to increasing traffic.[1]
