Judge Duble is the first openly gay justice of the peace in Harris County.[1]

Early Work

After 30 years in the field of law, Judge Duble became interested in running for office after witnessing poor treatment of people facing eviction.

Campaigns

In May 2024, Judge Duble won his runoff election against opponent Sonia Lopez with 53% of the vote.
