The Battle of Kasur (also known as the Sacking of Kasur) took place in May 1763, where the Sikh Misls united their forces against the Afghan forces of Kasur. The Sikhs successfully infiltrated Kasur and defeated the Afghan army, this was completely humiliating for the Afghan forces. The Sikhs would sack the town after the battle. Even though the Afghan army having over a million strength, the Sikhs still defeated them under the command of Hari Singh Bhangi, this can be seen in the Sri gur panth Prakash.
Background
The Brahmins initially did not want to fight at Kasur due to the city's defenses. Hari Singh Dhillon convinced them to start the battle.[5]
