Wikilinking years

Hi. I am trully sorry that I destroyed your day's work, but your sole activity on April 26 was wikilinking bare years in numerous unrelated articles. However, it is widely accepted that bare years should not be wikilinked just for linking's sake, i.e. only links relevant to the context should be preserved. Please refer to WP:DATE#Partial dates. Note that I've done this with consent of several posters at WP:ANI#Systematic wikilinking of years.

I apologize if I happened to make a collateral damage as well, like rolling back spelling fixes. I partially reverted myself on Zürich trams, and I hope I didn't miss any other. I'm sorry for inconvenience, and keep up on good work. Duja► 14:12, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you are probably a Dutch editor. In that case, please note that, as Duja noted, the policy regarding wikilinking years is different here. We don't make wikilinks for year, as nl.wiki does. Thanks for the work, in any case. --Rabbeinu 14:40, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
