Iqtidar (Urdu: اقتدار , lit.'Authority') is a 2024 Pakistani drama serial. The drama premiered on 19 September 2024 on GreenEntertainment, and aires twice a week Thursday and Friday at 8pm.[1]

Written by Hina Huma Nafees, it is directed by Fahim Burney and produced and presented by Multiverse Entertainment. It stars Anmol Baloch and Ali Raza with supporting cast of Rubina Ashraf, Ahmed Randhawa, Javed Sheikh, and Seemi Pasha.[2]

Before it premiered, the show was already building buzz following the release of its promotional photos and teasers.

Synopsis

Mehrunisa, a young woman supporting her family after her father's death, is devastated when her brother is killed in an accident caused by a politician's son. Determined to seek justice, she raises her voice against the lies surrounding his death.[3]
