Jean Robert Yvan Hungley (born 15 February 1957)[1] is a Mauritian politician who has been Vice-President of Mauritius since 7 December 2024.[2]
He was born on 15 February 1957 in Rose Hill.[1] He worked in Mauritius Docks. He was elected as municipal councillor for Beau Bassin-Rose Hill in 1995 and 2001. He served as mayour of Beau Bassin-Rose Hill from 2004 to 2005.[3][1] He was a candidate in the parliamentary elections of 2010 and 2019.[3]
He has been member of the Mauritian Militant Movement since 1975.[3]
