:As a Cairns resident, when we refer to a "range" it is not a mountain range, but the highway that goes over it. Examples are:

*The Kuranda Range
*The Gillies Range
*The Palmerston Range
*The Rex Range
*Quaid Range (Also known as Quaid Road)

As a Cairns resident, when we refer to a "range" it is not a mountain range, but the highway that goes over it. Examples are:
  • The Kuranda Range
  • The Gillies Range
  • The Palmerston Range
  • The Rex Range
  • Quaid Range (Also known as Quaid Road)
