Hello SYSS Mouse/Archive 01 and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

Bemani

Hi, could you take a look at Category talk:Bemani? I'm proposing some changes, and since you're one of the best contributors to Bemani articles I believe your opinion would really matter there. --Kamek 19:59, Sep 2, 2004 (UTC)

mathNEWS

Re: Request for Wiki assistance.

Funny, I used to contribute to SciNotes. I've never setup a wiki before; I've only contributed to this one. So I wouldn't have any idea of how to set one up. I would indeed like to know since I would like to set one up for myself, but I haven't had the time to sit down and figure it out. TimothyPilgrim 02:27, Sep 25, 2004 (UTC)

Bemani

I hate to say that your edit is not a good edit at all, the category Bemani artists is for composers who contributed music to the Bemani games. This article also serves as a general introduction for the category of Bemani games.

The category links are prposefully placed there.

I am reverting the edits. SYSS Mouse 22:07, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I really don't know anything about Bemani, except what I read here on Wikipedia. It is not common practice to use links to categories inside the articles and this is the reason for my edit. Revert if you want. However, Bemani should be categorised in some way and I think this article is well inside the scope of Category:Bemani video games. _R_ 23:08, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)

mathNEWS

Actually, when I made that change, I was just looking at the syntax... figured you knew what you were doing by italicizing it. Looking at the mathNEWS website, they seem to be doing it with the italics, but as mathNEWS rather then mathNEWS. We might want to switch it to that, for consistancy's sake, if nothing more. Arcuras 04:37, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)

Considering the contents it has so far, I don't think it's worth an article. The only point in favor of it IMO is the fact of it being the #1 Google hit (which proves it is a fairly big website, thus possibly deserving an article... if there's something to write about it). --Kamek 04:41, Dec 14, 2004 (UTC)

I doubt it neither. What I think is that it WILL NEVER become articcle-worthy. #1 Google does not mean anything. Maybe a subsection in DDR mentioning the effect of DDR Freak in the popularity. But that's it. SYSS Mouse 04:53, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Uncharted Waters

I have actually only played New Horizons (UW2) in English, so much of it came from the web. If you know more about the series you can help refine the details. Dates I got from GameFAQs so should be fairly accurate. --Euniana 03:14, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

The DDR phenomenon

Replied to your comment in Talk:Dance Dance Revolution#The DDR phenomenon. --Poiuytman 10:14, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I cleaned up the links, as per your request. I then decided to clean up some of the inconsistencies in tense and grammatical person, then capitalization and quoting, date inaccuracies, the huge amount of redundancy in the "Variations" section....I sort of lost track of time and ended up re-writing a good deal of the article. :P
--Poiuytman 14:40, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Xfire

Hi SYSS Mouse -- Took a look at your rewrite of Xfire, & you made it closer to what I consider a Wikipedia article should look like, although I made a few copy edits. Thanks for the quick work on fixing this! -- llywrch 16:47, 17 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Re: user name redirect

Yeah, I made the redirect page in anticipation of my username being changed, but it doesn't seem that the username change page is ever maintained anymore. I guess I'll get rid of the redirects. Thanks. --Poiuyt Man (talk) 20:45, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for your support on WP:RFA. – ABCD 02:28, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Alright, I don't really know anything about her, but I recognized the other names like Cao Cao, and she seemed to be a real person from a quick Google search. I didn't think it was worthy of being speedily deleted, but if you think it needs to be listed on VFD, then I support that. Adam Bishop 03:09, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Re: DDR again

I think the DDR article has the potential for featured article status in the near future, but there are several problem areas. "Songs and levels" needs some cleanup, and "The DDR phenomenon" needs serious work. --Poiuyt Man (talk) 05:29, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Re: Happy Corner

I have cleaned up a little bit. Will be back some time when I'm free. — Instantnood 23:45, May 10, 2005 (UTC)

Happy Corner illustration

I've drawn one illustration of your article. Hope you don't mind. =) P.S. Some minor clean-ups are made at the same time. Please check.

Re: several things

I agree to your stance. Actually I searched that piece of information from the Internet, and, without in-depth contemplation, re-wrote the concerned phrases into the article. The misleading contents were cleaned up. Thanks for your adivce. =)

Another thing is about the copyrigt tag about Happy Corner. I'm new to Wikipedia, and I'm all at sea about those bits and bobs of tagging. Up to now, I don't have the foggiest idea about what kind of tab code should be implemented. So if you have a recommendation, please kindly inform me as soon as possible.

PS I'm a native Chinese, but I'd like to write in English--just because typing Chinese is beyong my ken! Have a nice day.

PPS If you want any articles to be translated (into English of course), or demand further proof-reading processes, please feel free to contact me at any time.--Mcy jerry 08:06, 16 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

What a year! My first year in Wiki, a featured article and now administrator. Thank you for your support. Tony the Marine

About anonymous users

Hey Kenny,

Can you force someone to sign up to a Wikipedia account? Because the same person with a dynamic IP keeps making (poor, POV) edits and it's a hassle to track all his work down... --Madchester 04:58, 2005 Jun 14 (UTC)

Hello! I've noticed your past interest in Wikipedia:Mind Benders and wanted to share the following announcement with you! I've taken over the responsibilities of Mind Benders, and the page will now be regularly updated. Right now, the pre-round is open (it's more of a creative artistic competition), and round one will open soon (the questions are done, we just need to wait for the pre-round to begin/finish)! So why not check it out? I'll keep you updated! Thanks, Flcelloguy | A note? | Desk 01:40, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

P.S. Feel free to pass this news on to other Wikipedians.

ArbCom case

Thanks for keeping an eye on the ArbCom case. :-) In case it is really (re)open, please free feel to comment, no matter for or against my position, or anybody else's, by writing a statement. — Instantnood 18:25, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)

Admin vote

Thank you for your neutral vote? I don't even know how I earned a nom for adminship... I was just doing my own thing and someone noticed my work. :-P --Madchester 16:09, July 25, 2005 (UTC)

Umm, thank you for your note and picking up my assignments? I just didn'r stay till the end of class. Did the prof mention any other bonus questions, besides the Home Depot ROE one? -Madchester 16:14, July 27, 2005 (UTC)

Super Eurobeat

Go right ahead, the only reason I reverted was that it was as you said poorly written. I see no problem in you working on it. Havok (T/C) 09:13, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Chinese Bible versions

——Gniw (Wing) 06:47, 28 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

SuperNova

I suppose you're right :-) It's a good idea to leave it off until official word is given, but check out my contrib to the talk page... I do think it's sanctioned by Konami since they're using the DDR trademark, they just haven't released official word. But we'll see :-) - Lightdarkness 04:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 04:29, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Robin Miller

Hi, SYSS. There's been some discussion about your move on this talk page: Talk:Robin Miller (nurse). We're thinking that since the other Robin Miller is easily distinguished from this one by "Sir," it'd be better to move the Robin Miller (nurse) page back to Robin Miller, and move your new disambiguation page to Robin Miller (disambiguation). If you approve or disapprove or have some other input, please let us know at Talk:Robin Miller (nurse). Thanks! —Cleared as filed. 14:51, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mets501 talk page

I just wanted to say thank you for reverting some nasty vandalism on my User_talk:Mets501 page. --Mets501talk 03:35, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

10A section of HKCEE

The 10A section is encyclopedic, because it serves as a hall of fame. Most articles concerning awards, for example, Bauhinia Bowl, has them. I'm adding them back. --Deryck C. 07:24, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DDR Characters article

How come you want to delete the DDR characters article? I'll listen to your reasons.

Could you please take another look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James Browning (Texas politician)? I fixed the article James Browning (Texas politician) by replacing the hoax text with information from a number of sources on the real Texas politician by this name. You added a casualty total of ~100 for the British and allies in this war. I cannot find a source for this claim. Do you know where the number comes from? Rmhermen 02:50, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I noticed that you used WhatPulse. I invite you to annexation to us Wikimedan team! Please look there for details: Wikimedia WhatPulse Team. --Krzysiu Jarzyna 11:48, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By removing those links, I meant that I removed the "Spam" indicator. It was unacceptable, as, this is a commercial product, it isn't considered spam to have a link to the product it is describing, or other branches of this product. --SwitchSpectre 17:45, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks

Thank you for voting in my RfA, I passed. I appreciate your input. Please keep an eye on me(if you want) to see if a screw up. HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 16:49, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know! We always encourage people to improve our articles and fix any errors they may have, and I'm glad you clarified things with your edits. Thanks again for the heads up. Flcelloguy (A note?) 03:29, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Editor review

Thanks for having requested an editor review. A month has passed since it has been posted there, and it has been archived. You can find it at Wikipedia:Editor review/SYSS Mouse/Archive 01, where you may read last minute additions. We would really appreciate your help in reviewing a random editor.
