Synopsis
A man delivers a walkie talkie to Jericho. It becomes the main form of communication between Phil Constantino and Mayor Anderson as the war between the two towns begins.
Refusing to meet Constantino's demands for farms and a share of the salt mine, New Bern strikes two mortars on Jericho, threatening to unleash more on the town every hour until demands are met. Gray sends a group which includes Stanley to go and find where the mortars are being fired from and take them down. Johnston, Jake, and many others advise Gray against ambushing them but he orders them to anyway and several of Jericho's men get killed. Another mortar strikes the town but fortunatly everyone in Jericho got to safe shelter.
Johnston, Jake, Hawkins, Emily, and others decide to take action and as they are searching for other possible mortar bases, they unexpectedly run into Jonah Prowse and his gang. Emily convinces Jonah and his men to help Jericho fight in exchange for 50% of all the food and ammunition captured from the New Bern forces.
The Jericho group comes upon the mortar base and with Jonah's group backing them up, they were successfully able to stop the mortars. Jonah's dark side finally shows up as he mercilessly kills off all the injured New Bern men from the battle and takes all of the guns and supplies. Jonah tells Emily that the town now owes him 100% of everything and that there is no deal between him and Jericho.
