The winner of Miss Chinese Toronto then represented Toronto at the annual [[Miss Chinese International]] pageant, held in Hong Kong each year. Both Janet and Aimee failed to place. Later Janet joined the top 16 of the Miss Hong Kong 2006 pageant. She was one of 4 women who was selected from the US and Canada or overseas to compete in Hong Kong. During the finals, she won the Miss Photogenic award and placed as 1st runner up. She also received the highest swimsuit score (44) during her catwalk. However her interview only got her 29 points, leaving her with 73 points and placing 4th in the top 5 (though the actually scores could of been different as the first interview scores weren't shown). After hosting some shows, she was selected to represent Hong Kong at the [[Miss World 2006]] pageant. Orginally Aimee, the winner was suppose to compete at Miss World. However Aimee was 25 years old and was considered overage by the Miss World Organization. Speculation still exists today as Miss World Canada 2006 got to compete in Miss World, as she was also 25. Janet spoke fluent English as she lived and was born in Toronto. She had a great Vote For Me show as she was the most fluent English speaker in the Asia Pacific zone. However during the finals, she failed to make the top 17. She received positive comments though.
