Far in the future on the edge of the galaxy, the Doctor comes across what is left of a Morestran mining expedition.
Returning from [[Skaro]] by means of the Time Ring, The Doctor, Harry and Sarah find themselves back on space station Nerva but in an earlier time. A lethal infection is spreading through the crew.
