Super Grover is the subject of a series of skits on the Sesame Street television show where the Muppet Grover changes into his alter-identity "Super Grover" and goes out to fix things. Super Grover is a parody of Superman.
Super Grover's variation from his normal self (see Grover) consists of a Roman helmet and a cape with the letter "G" tied around his neck.
Hilarity ensues when Super Grover usually crashes into something. Often, although it is well-intended, Super Grover does something to make the situation worse. He sometimes learns something as a result, although more often than not, this is not the case.
One of his catchphrases is, "My cute little ears hear a cry for help."
Super Grover was created by Jerry Juhl.
Just as Grover has his Mommy, Super Grover has Super-Mommy who appears flying—and falling!—beside him in one sketch.
