Marthijn Uittenbogaard (born in Leiden, April 21, 1972) is a Dutch pedophile activist. In July 2003, he launched the Human Face of Paedophilia with two other activists.[1] On 31 May, 2006,[2] he co-founded the Partij voor Naastenliefde, Vrijheid en Diversiteit, a Dutch political party which has achieved partial fame due to its pedophile founders and liberal approach to the age of consent. Uittenbogaard is curently the PNVD's president.[3]
Marthijn and MARTIJN
Uittenbogaard is also the current president of Vereniging MARTIJN - an organisation that aims to make intergenerational sexual relationships acceptable. Contrary to popular belief, the organisation was not named after Uittenbogaard.[4] [see episode 22] Indeed, Uittenbogaard was only a boy of 9 or 10, and had no contact with any of the early members when the organisation was founded.

Reflections on boyhood
In a 2003 article published in MARTIJN's OK Magazine, Uittenbogaard linked his boyhood sexual feelings for older men to his current beliefs:
I also fantasized about sex with grown-up men. What sex meant, I didn't precisely know, but growing up, the picture became more and more coloured. I hoped for a contact with a nice man, but his looks were not of much importance. What I wanted was to give him sexual pleasure. Sex is an interaction; you can also get pleasure when you give pleasure to your partner. It was a pity that I never met a "sexual predator"[5]
Radical outlook on sexuality
In the same article, Uittenbogaard also provides a commentary on female sexuality, that may be described as in tune with social constructionist thinking:
If she doesn't masturbate, and goes to bed one day, with a boy, the sexual experience can be very disappointing and painful, for not knowing what turns her on, et cetera. Sex can then easily become a necessary evil, many women have experienced this, but it isn't necessary. That's one of the many reasons why I'm in favour of openness about sexuality amongst children. Why not show them all of what’s possible on a DVD?
Uittenbogaard goes on to mention that an "evolution" of sexual philosophy is preferable to a "revolution", since society can approach each emergent problem with greater sensitivity.
