Candido Jacuzzi (24 February 1903 - 7 October 1986) was an Italian immigrant to the United States of America. He is sometimes claimed to be the co-inventor of the Jacuzzi whirlpool bath [1]. It is claimed that because his 15-month-old son had rheumatoid arthritis, he developed a pump that enabled a whirlpool to be created in a bath, as a hydrotherapeutic device in the relief of pain.
