Luzerne Atwell "Lu" Blue (March 5, 1897 – July 28, 1958) was a Major League Baseball first baseman. During his thirteen seasons in the major leagues, he played with the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns, Chicago White Sox, and Brooklyn Dodgers. For ten seasons, Blue was among the top ten in walks, finishing his career with 1,092 walks and a .402 on base percentage. In 1929, he was first in the American League in total times on base.
Born in Washington, D.C., Lu Blue served in World War I. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery after his death on July 28, 1958 at Alexandria, Virginia.
