Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be the fourth installment in the Call of Duty video game series and the first to not be set during World War II. The game's main setting is in the Middle East and Eastern Europe according to IGN[1]. But might expand to different areas according to a recent Game informer Magazine

On April 25, 2007, Call of Duty publisher Activision sent an email to gaming websites, stating that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was to be unveiled on Saturday April 28, 2007, during the NFL draft on ESPN.[2] A trailer was released showing scenes set in a modern day warfare environment.[3]

Trailer

The trailer, showing some in-game footage, was released April 28, 2007. In the background one may hear a speech given in Russian. The speech translates as "Today there is minus one nation in the world. The time has come to show what we really are. We fear no one." Additionally, a final voice at the end speaks the Russian translation of a quote by Sun Tzu, author of The Art of War. "All war is based on deception." Also, in Arabic, one hears the statements "Enemy Forces Sighted" and later "American Forces Nearby."
