Chris Moon goes to [[Cambodia]] to demine land mines and jog. He knows that tragic history of the place. Millions of people have been killed in the earlier years. One day, Chris Moon, his colleagues, and around 20 village people trying to sell things go to part of a forest to check things out there. Chris feels eyes watching him. When he gets out of his car, a clan of [[Khmer Rouge]] race out and capture Chris and his colleagues, including his friend/translator and the truck driver of the other vehicle. They force Chris to drive the vehicle to their territory across a wide river, not before forcing the trio to take off all the clothes and possessions. But Chris is both sneaky and smart. He keeps his watch in his underwear, to hide it from the Khmer Rouge. He can now tell time if he is captured. Anyways, he drives the truck across the river. He finds the opportunity to escape, but he chooses to stay with his friends. The stay at the Khmer Rouge base for a day or two, and then the master tells them they can go after seeing a search helicopter that they thought was what was a U.S. Missionary helicopter. He then thought Chris had his friends were part of the army. He tells them they have 24 hours to get out of Khmer territory. They're about half-way out when a group of teen Khmer Rouge driving a large truck stop in the middle of Chris's path. The leader, the mean Khmer Rouge man who captured them first, tries to take them again, but Chris tries to explain that the leader's master set them free. He goes along with it and gets the teens to lead them out of the forest to the river. They don't know about their time to get out and want sleep in an old, abandoned camp. Chris scares them to keep them moving, telling them that ghost lurk there. He thinks about cracking their necks, but it was pointless. They finally got out. Two years into the future, Chris is in a bad situation again. He survives a land mine accident. Chris now runs in races around the world, with his mechanical leg and mechanical arm.
