"One Day in the Valley" is an episode from Season 3 of the dramedy television series Entourage.

Plot

It's "Aquaman's" opening day and the pressure is on. Initial box office projections, already "Titanic"-sized, get even higher after the first East Coast numbers stream in, giving everyone hope that the film has a chance to pass "Spider-Man" as the biggest opening weekend in history. To avoid getting recognized, Vince and the boys decide to take in a showing in the Valley, but the 100 degree heat sets blackouts and unsure West Coast numbers. The bouncing box office receipts and the heat push everyone to the brink, so to unwind, the crew ends up crashing a high school party, where Vince gets to live out his "Almost Famous" fantasy. When Ari finally finds them - a drunken Vince celebrating on a rooftop - he breaks the big news: "Aquaman" is back on track to break the weekend box office record.

Significance

Aquaman opens, breaking the box office records. The film's success prompts Warners to rush into production on a sequel.

Trivia

This episode contains numerous references to the 2000 Cameron Crowe film Almost Famous, which features a scene where a famous rock star attends a high school party.
Ari refers to Spider-Man as the 'Web Crawler'. This is not one of the character's nicknames, but an almaglamtion of the nicknames 'Wall Crawler' & both 'Web Swinger' & 'Web Head'
The opening-weekend box-office record which Aquaman supposedly set was shattered in real-life by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest barely two weeks after the airing of this episode which was then subsequently shattered less than a year later, ironically, by Spider-Man 3.
Vince gives away the Maseratti he gave Eric after the dealership gave it to him.
As the guys are stuck in traffic E talks to Ari on the phone mentioning he is in Northridge. As Turtle makes a U-Turn the street sign shows Burbank Blvd. This street does not go through Northridge.
