Burton is a residential suburb approximately 21km north of the CBD of Adelaide, South Australia. Burton is a multicultural community with many families coming from Vietnam, Poland, Italy, Greece, and various other countries. Burton Primary (R-7) is a local school which opened in 1990. It educates over 400 students each year. [2] New estates have being developed in the Burton in the past few years, including the prestigious Springbank Waters estate. These new estates have resulted in a small shopping centre, Springbank Plaza, being constructed in the heart of Burton. The North East section of Burton consists of a large wetlands conservation.
