The Adansi South District is the southern-most district of Ghana in the Ashanti Region. The district lies entirely in a forest, containing eight forest reserves. Hardwood lumber is a major district asset. The region is popular for eco-tourism, containing many scenic waterfalls and mountain ranges. Among the crops grown in Adansi South are pineapples, cashews, black pepper, and tomatoes.
