Jackie Blanchflower, (born March 7, 1933 in Belfast), was an English football player. He played for Manchester United F.C., graduating from its youth system. His first professional game came in 1951. He would help the club three league titles in the 1950's. He never made a full recovery from injuries sustained in the Munich Air Disaster, and retired from football a year later. He finished his short career with 27 goals for the club.
