Around 1981 Renee McGowen began the Lot Bounty Hunters. BHB was one of the original five street gangs that came together to form Blood in the summer of 1972. Michael "Harry O" Harris, who is serving 28 years in prison is well known in this 'Hood (neighborhood, turf). |

East Side Bounty Hunter Bloods
The Bounty Hunters or East Side Bounty Hunter Bloods were started around 1969 in the Nickerson Gardens Housing Projects in Watts. Gary Barker and Bobby Jack were two of the founding members. Around 1981 Renee McGowen began the Lot Bounty Hunters. BHB was one of the original five street gangs that came together to form Blood in the summer of 1972. Enemies
In 1992 a truce was called between the Bounty Hunters, Circle City Pirus, Grape Street Watts Crips and the PJ Watts Crips. Now BHB have allied with PJ Watts against the Grape Street Watts Crips of Jordan Downs Housing Project. They have had large gang wars,and still do. Bounty Hunters Watts wars with Ten Line (110th Street)Gangster Crip, Front Street Watts Crip, Carver Park Compton Crips, East Coast Block Crip 118, Kitchen Crip Gang 116, and the South Los 13. The BHB 'hood starts from 108th(north),Imperial Avenue(south),Compton Avenue(east),and Central Avenue(west).

They have 7 subsets with 40 members or more in each set.The sets are Ten-Eight(108th),Ace Line(111th),Deuece Line(112th),Trey Line(113th),Foe Line(114th),Five Line(115th),and the Bellhaven Block Boys. The gang controls the whole Nickerson Gardens Projects.
