Jared W. Anderson (December 28, 1975 - October 14, 2006) was the former bassist and co-vocalist of Hate Eternal.[1] He quit the band in 2003 because of his drug problems.[2] Before forming Hate Eternal, he had played in Internecine, and he performed on their only album in 2001.[3] He also played temporarily in Morbid Angel (2001–2002).[1] He died in his sleep on the evening of October 14, 2006.[4][5] Shortly before his death, he had started a new project called As One... with Steve Tucker, also a former member of Morbid Angel.[6] His last recording was a guest appearance in The Allknowing's cover of Motörhead's "Ace of Spades",[7] now freely accessible online.[8]
