This heavy metal band is fronted by Moa Holmsten’s mammoth vocal style, combines aggressively melodic vocals, mind bending guitar riffs, along with a rhythm section creating fiercely bombastic grooves, giving Meldrum their unique, cutting edge sound.
Moa Holmsten is special guest vocalist on Motorhead’s 30th anniversary DVD. Moa recently recorded guest vocals for Lemmy Kilmister’s solo album on a song written by Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters).
Guitarist Michelle started her first band Wargod with Strapping Young Lad drummer Gene Hoaglan. She then formed the all female hard rock band Phantom Blue, where she was the lead guitarist. "Phantom Blue," was originally signed to Roadrunner & Geffen Records where they released 2 albums and an EP. Michelle is married to Europe's guitar player, John Norum. The band did several successful worldwide tours.
Meldrum has toured with Motorhead, Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, Sepultura, Danzig, and Nashville Pussy. They are currently in the studio working on songs with producer Toby Wright (Alice in Chains, Korn, Fear Factory, and Metallica).
