Del Oro High School is located in [[Walnut Creek, California]]. Del Oro is a WASC accredited alternative education program, established by the Acalanes Union High School District in 1967, to assist students whose needs are not being met by the comprehensive high schools. The program is designed to help students earn a high school diploma or return to the comprehensive high school programs. The program offered at Del Oro meets the graduation requirements of the State of California and the Acalanes Union High School District. |

Outstanding productions by the drama department thus far include You Can't Take it With You, Our Town (Revised), Bang Bang, You're Dead, Copyright (a high school parody of Cyrano de Bergerac), Arsenic and Old Lace, The Foreigner, Much Ado About Nothing (A Drama 2 production), and Noises Off. |
