The District has three high schools (North, South, and East), as well as three middle schools (West, East, and South). Intermediate South is scheduled to open in Beachwood in Sept. 2005. Intermediate East and West are currently the two most populous middle schools in New Jersey at 1,600 and 1,400 students respectively. Toms River Regional also has 12 elementary schools.
