Ormara is a port city (25° 16' 29N 64° 35' 10E) located in the Makran or coastal region of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is located 450 km west of Karachi on the Arabian Sea. The population of Ormara is estimated to be over 40,000 in 2005. Over 99% is Muslim. Most of the population of Ormara is Baloch.
The Jinnah naval base of Pakistan Navy is located at Ormara. Ormara also has an airport.
