Creating articles for colonies that have the same name in different cities is absurd! No individually distinguishable information can be presented in such articles. I suggest a guideline be created for this. Perhaps WikiProject India can take the initiative and stop this non sense trend. If a colony is popular or has historical significance for some reason then the article should be titled "Malviya Nagar (Lucknow, India)", not just "Malviya Nagar". This is also in line with Wikipedia [[Wikipedia:Naming conventions (places)|Naming conventions]].

Title does not make sense

Creating articles for colonies that have the same name in different cities is absurd! No individually distinguishable information can be presented in such articles. I suggest a guideline be created for this. Perhaps WikiProject India can take the initiative and stop this non sense trend. If a colony is popular or has historical significance for some reason then the article should be titled "Malviya Nagar (Lucknow, India)", not just "Malviya Nagar". This is also in line with Wikipedia Naming conventions. — Aksera 17:41, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
