A+ (Anime+, Anime Plus) was a Central-European anime television channel, which was broadcasted in Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and originally launched in December 4, 2004. It was later acquired by Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) in October 2006, and in April 11, 2007, was incorporated and transformed into the Central-European branch of Animax, the world's largest anime TV network, as part of Animax's expansion into Europe.[1][2][3]
