Named ‘JaiHind TV', the first of the regional Congress channels, will be launched in Kerala. According to the party sources the channel will be broadcasting programmes like News and Interviews.
This channel is a part of the decision by Indian National Congress that the party is gearing up to launch its own TV news channels, in various states and languages in co-ordination with a group of pro-Congress NRI investors.
Apart from this Malayalam version, there are plans to launch ‘Jai Hind’, in Kannada and Hindi in the course of time.
