Tilba Tilba is a town in New South Wales, Australia in Eurobodalla Shire. The area was originally inhabited by the Yuin Aboriginal tribe. Tilba is said to mean wind in the Yuin language.[1] Others have said the word is a Thawa Aboriginal term for 'many waters'." [2] The town was settled during the Australian gold rushes of the nineteenth century.
