I find the description very confusing. according to what is written here, the French scale gives the circumference and to get the diameter, one divides the French size by pi (3.14159 ...) . This does not agree with the conversion table given in the attached picture. The scaling factor is more like F = 3 * mm. Any body agrees ? |

very confusing
I find the description very confusing. according to what is written here, the French scale gives the circumference and to get the diameter, one divides the French size by pi (3.14159 ...) . This does not agree with the conversion table given in the attached picture. The scaling factor is more like F = 3 * mm. Any body agrees ?
