George Edward "Skip" Prosser (November 3 1950 - July 26 2007) was an American college basketball coach whom held the position of head basketball coach at Wake Forest University at the time of his death. Previously, he coached Xavier University for seven seasons, where he achieved great success. In addition, he coached for one year at Loyola College in Maryland, where he took the Greyhounds to the team's only modern-day NCAA Tournament appearance. Health
The Winston-Salem Journal [1] has reported that Prosser collapsed while jogging on July 26, 2007. He died later that day at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center from an apparent heart attack [2].
