Sir Harry Christophers Kt is an English conductor, born on December 26, 1953 in Goudhurst, Kent. He became a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral, then studied music at King's School, Canterbury. He became an Academical Clerk at Magdalen College, Oxford. He founded The Sixteen in 1977. As well as conducting The Sixteen he has conducted the English Chamber Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic, the St. Louis Symphony and the Deutsches Kammerphilharmonie.
He was knighted in the 2006 Birthday Honours List.
