Dr. Farooq Sattar is the Deputy Convener and Parliamentary leader of the [[MQM}] a mainstream political party in Pakistan. He is a former mayor of Karachi, former Provincial Minister in the Sindh Cabinet for Local Bodies and one of the senior Members of the MQM Co-Ordination Committee. Dr Farooq Sattar is also heading Foreign Relations Committee in the senate.
