Miss/Guided is an upcoming American situation comedy created by Gabrielle Allan and Caroline Williams. The series follows the life of Becky Freeley, a guidance counselor at a high school that she attended when she was a teenager. The pilot was directed by Todd Holland.[1]
Produced by 20th Century Fox Television, ABC Television Studio and Katalyst Films, it is currently scheduled to air in 2008 as a mid-season replacement on ABC. The series is also executive produced by Karey Burke, Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher under his production banner, Katalyst Films. Caroline Williams serves as a co-executive producer.[1] Rob Thomas, creator of the critically acclaimed Veronica Mars, joined the production staff in May 2007 as showrunner but left his post due to "creative differences" as the series veered into a stronger comedic tone. Mark Hudis, executive producer of That '70s Show, took over the role in July 2007.[2]
